How to start and edit a Foliotek digital portfolio at Gonzaga University

About Foliotek

Assigned a digital portfolio? Curious about the capabilities of Foliotek?
This is a great starting point for you!

Foliotek is the digital portfolio platform that Gonzaga University subscribes to, and IDD (Instructional Design & Delivery) is the department responsible for the care & feeding of the product. If you have any questions, comments, or would like some training, please contact idd@gonzaga.edu or stop by the office in room 106 of the Foley Library.

Campus offers Foliotek accounts for all students, staff, and faculty. For career & internship hunting, a personal reflection project or experience, or for assessing student learning, whatever the reason may be that piqued your interest in digital portfolios, we hope you enjoy the experience.

Assessment vs. Presentation

It is important to know that Foliotek has two vastly different sides.
The Assessment side is very structured and defined by professors or group leaders. It is more like a filing cabinet with specific expectations outlined. Students assigned with an Assessment portfolio will receive tailored instructions.
All users have access to the Presentation side where you can create digital portfolios, also known as websites, and share them as you like. These portfolios may be assignments, presentations, or personal portfolios for job applications - and you can create as many as you like within your Foliotek account.
You can toggle between the Assessment and Presentation worlds with the tab in the top-right corner of the screen.
